• Leads and oversees all aspects of financial reporting, systems management, forecasting and planning, and investor relations.
• Served as CFO for Enigma Inc. during periods of rapid expansion and volatility to produce profitable growth.
• Served as CFO for Boston Financial Group L.P. and led firm’s financial management in multiple core areas, including multifamily housing, commercial, senior living, development, risk and insurance, investment banking and REIT securities.
• Former CFO of Bitstream Inc. where he managed the company from crisis period to profitable growth, to IPO.
• As Vice-President of Interfid Ltd. gained experience with 17 investor companies and over 50 financing events.
• Received his Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College in Connecticut with Honors in Economics.
• Holds an MBA from Amos Tuck School , Dartmouth College .

Jill Haselman
Senior Vice President of Organizational Development and Culture

• Leads and oversees strategic human capital management, organizational and talent development and organizational effectiveness.
• Leads the design, development and execution of a values-based culture.
• Has more than 22 years of professional experience in the fields of organizational behavior & development, culture change, human resources, learning & development, change management and acquisitions assimilation.
• Held executive positions leading organizational strategies for Envision Development Corp., Lend Lease/Boston Financial, Cornell University, the Virginia Department of Education and multiple consulting clients.
• Active member for the Society for Human Resource Management, Organizational Development Network, National Association of Female Executives, and the American Society for Training.

Alison Carnduff
Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management & Investments

• Leads and oversees a broad range of investment
  activities including acquisitions, recapitalizations,
  industry and market research and development
  activities.
• Responsible for portfolio management, investor
  relations and reporting, and equity marketing.
• Assists the company in developing strategic goals and practices.
• Has over 15 years of professional experience in real estate development, lending, and acquisitions in the
  areas of senior housing, multifamily housing and
  specialized institutional development.
• Served as CEO of Keen Development Corporation, a real estate development firm specializing in historic reuse.
• Former member of the MASS-ALFA Board.
• Has had a long-time role in the planning of rehabilitation and reuse of the Watertown Arsenal, a 31-acre historic, former military installation now owned by Harvard University.

Jack McCarthy
Senior Vice President of Sales

• Leads and oversees all aspects of sales and marketing for the company’s entire portfolio of properties.
• He is a pioneer in the development and implementation of a “sales culture” within the senior living industry. He is known for solutions-oriented selling, new business development and leadership, and motivational team building.
• Under Jack’s leadership, Benchmark’s sales team is known to be among the most innovative and successful in the industry.
• Previously served as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing community operations, including operating divisions and resident care.
• Prior to Benchmark, served as Regional Sales Director for Beverly Enterprises, and has a career spanning various industries from healthcare to high-tech.
• Member of the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) and the Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association (MASS-ALFA).

Andrea M. Teichman
Senior Vice President and General Counsel

• Primary responsibility for legal matters, risk management and compliance.
• From 1984 through 2007, was a partner at the law firms of Day Pitney LLP and Hill & Barlow PC and an associate at Gaston & Snow.
• Received her J.D. from The University of Chicago School of Law and her A.B. from Bowdoin College.
• Serves as a board member of The Boston Club, the region’s largest organization for senior executive and professional women.
